Created with a story behind it.
Chestnut Meadows Books & Goods grew from a love of making things by hand — books, paper goods, sewn pieces, baked goods, and all the little projects that seem to find their way into life here.
Much of that creativity comes from the two women who helped shape me: my biological mother and my stepmother. I was very blessed that there was never really a “step” in my path — only another mom who loved me. Both influenced the way I create, how I live, and how I love.
When I started designing books, I created my pen name to honor them both — a small way of carrying them into the work I do. I quietly tucked all three of our names into one and introduced it to the world. Six years and more than 580 books later, almost no one knows it’s me. You can read more about that story on the About page.
Most of the recipes I make today also have roots in family tradition. My sourdough pretzels, for example, are based on one of those family recipes and have been adapted over time into my own version.
Here you’ll find our books, notebooks, bookmarks, and other goods gathered in one place for shops and wholesale buyers to browse.
And as Chestnut Meadows grows, who knows — you may even see pretzel seasoning mixes pop up here someday, with flavors like Original, Everything Bagel, Ghost Pepper, Steakhouse, and more, so you can make your own version at home.
