Here at Chestnut Meadows, the growing season is always changing. We’re tending young trees and seasonal plants, watching new growth develop, and getting things ready for the months ahead.
Chestnut trees are at the heart of the farm, but we’re also growing persimmons, pawpaws, beautyberry, and other seasonal plants as we slowly expand what’s growing here at Chestnut Meadows.
Some of these trees and plants will be offered for local, in-person purchase at the farm as they become ready. Availability will change throughout the year depending on the season, the weather, and how each plant is developing.
This Farm & Garden section is where we’ll share updates about what’s growing, what may be available soon, planting notes, and other seasonal happenings around the farm.
There’s always something new to watch here — fresh leaves, new growth, changing weather, wildlife passing through, and the next round of planting.
